After graduating high school, I sought a career that would become my passion while allowing me to spend quality time with my family and friends. That's when I joined a public defenders law firm, and I quickly fell in love with the field. Over thirteen years, I held various roles, starting as a legal assistant for four attorneys, which provided me with invaluable experience in writing motions transcriptions, filing, and data entry. I later transitioned to a file processing and investigations team, where I honed my data entry skills, before moving to the social services department, where I successfully revamped their processes, gaining more experience in medical record collection and competency filings.
